I have read many reviews raving about just how good this books was... I have already read the Six of Crows Duology and know just how good that was and how much I loved it. Neither prepared me for the magnificence of this book. And the ending... oh oh oh my... I knew Ms. Bardugo was good... but this book puts her in the class of the greats of fiction writing. If you hadn't guessed already I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved this book. The story is intricate, complex and so richly told that the hours flew by as I just had to keep turning page after page even long after I should have been asleep. The characters feel so very real and complete that I feel as if I could just close my eyes and step right inside this incredible world the author has created. This may be my first read of 2018, however I think at the end of the year it will still be firmly in place as one of my top five reads of 2018!
